For a recent class, we had the oppor­tu­nity to study Cit­i­zen Designer, Per­spec­tives on Design Respon­si­bil­ity. I’m sure that in many peo­ples’ careers, they come across an impact­ful com­men­tary that changes the way they think about their field of choice. This was one of those for me.

I had already begun to close my men­tal book on a few sub­jects regard­ing design until I read the per­spec­tives of the authors in the book. Things are NOT as they have always been, things are NOT as they seem, and things just might be more out of our con­trol then we like to think.
